My role as a digital designer was to develop a third-party Headspace app to help young adults maintain their overall wellbeing by engaging in mindfulness. The app seeks to resolve is the vulnerability young people encounter whist waiting for professional help from Headspace clinics.
I provided a reinvented approach to mindfulness by providing users with the chose to engage in either a traditional (2D) or VR experience which is tailored to user goals. Due to the project-scale, the final prototype is centered on the client user group, with a particular focus on the persona; Emily Taylor.
Central touchpoints include the following: VR/2D mindfulness mode, customisable UI settings based on time of day, progress tracking and calendar functionality.
